Sanxiantai Scenic Area

The Sanxiantai Scenic Area is located in Chenggong Township, Taitung County, and is one of the most iconic natural and cultural attractions on the east coast. The magnificent eight-arch cross-sea bridge, resembling a giant dragon lying across the sea, connects the main island of Taiwan with the offshore islet of Sanxiantai, leading travelers on an exploratory journey that combines mythical legends and spectacular marine wonders. The islet is dotted with astonishing geological wonders formed by volcanic agglomerates, such as sea stacks, potholes, and tunnel-like sea arches.
