Jiamuzi Bay

Jiamuzi Bay is located at the southern tip of Donghe Township. It is the traditional waters for the Dulan Amis people, who hold various ceremonies and engage in hunting and fishing here. In the Amis language, 'Kamod' means 'to catch and acquire.' Due to the calm sea conditions within the bay and its rich ecological resources, it is easy to catch fish, hence it was named Jiamuzi Bay. The Amis people regard this place as a sacred land left by their ancestors.
