Dulan Mountain Hiking Trail

From Provincial Highway 11, head towards Dulan in Taitung, passing Shuishangshangliu (Water Running Upward), Xinlan, and Beijunjie. Between Junjie and Beijunjie, turn onto the wilderness industrial road which then connects to the Dulan Mountain Trail. Dulan Mountain is regarded as a sacred mountain by the local Amis and Puyuma people, serving as a holy symbol and a place of worship. Although Dulan Mountain is only 1190 meters above sea level, its majestic and steep appearance, coupled with the influence of moisture from the Pacific Ocean to its east, creates a mysterious atmosphere where it is shrouded in clouds and mist all year round. It is likened to a beautiful woman being embraced and protected, hence it is also known as "Beauty Mountain".
