Taitung Old Railway Corridor

The Taitung Old Railway Corridor is 6 kilometers long. After the old Taitung Railway Station was officially decommissioned on June 1, 2001 (Republic of China year 90), the county government secured central government funding to convert the old railway line between the former station and Beinan Main Canal into a wooden boardwalk. This has become an important recreational walking space for Taitung citizens, stretching from the old station to the new station, and extending all the way towards Beinan.
