Lijia Forest Road

Lijia (Likavung) is derived from the Puyuma language, meaning 'lush Alocasia growing on fertile land.' The Lijia Forest Road was originally a hunting ground and agricultural land for the Dabalugu (大巴六九) community of the Puyuma people, later repurposed as an ancient logging trail. At the 9-kilometer mark of the forest road, there is a viewing platform offering expansive views, where visitors can overlook the mist-shrouded Dulan Mountain and enjoy the serene landscape where the sea and sky merge.
