Du Garden

Located in Chishang Township, Taitung, "Du Garden" is formally known as "Du Jing-zhi Memorial Garden." It was established by Mr. Du Jyun-yuan, a philanthropist originally from Chishang Township who made his fortune in the electronics industry. To express gratitude for the nurturing provided by his father, Mr. Du Jing-zhi, and his mother, Ms. Wang Yuan, and with a desire to give back to his hometown, he funded the renovation of his parents' ancestral home and the former Jinfeng Rice Mill, an area spanning over 2,000 ping, into a spacious venue. This venue is provided for community groups to hold activities. Furthermore, to purify hearts, serve the public, promote cultural education, and foster social harmony, it regularly hosts cultural, artistic, and social education exhibitions and events. It is also freely available for all sectors to apply for and conduct various proper activities that benefit physical and mental health.
