Qingye Village

Qingye Village in Sandimen Township is the only Rukai tribe in the township. It is known for the beautiful album 'Auba! The Most Beautiful Tribe,' and descendants of Princess Baleng, who fell in love with a hundred-pacer snake in Rukai legends, also reside here. However, the most touching aspect is the villagers' collective effort in promoting a community-wide street art project, transforming their home walls into beautiful, story-rich canvases. Family myths are painted on the walls; hunter families feature bears, muntjacs, and wild deer as protagonists. Even the colorful butterflies at the entrance at the foot of the mountain flutter their wings, inviting you to visit.
