Jinhu Wanshanye Temple

Located in a fishing port, this temple honors ancestors and seeks peace from Wanshan. Jinhu Wanshanye Temple was built in the 46th year of the Republic (1957). Its deity spirit was branched off from the founding Wanshan Shrine in Hanzailiao, Taizi Village. In commemoration of the maritime disaster during the Daoguang era, residents from both Jinhu and Hanzailiao gather on the seventh and eighth days of the sixth lunar month to perform the 'Qianshuizhuang' ritual to deliver the souls of the deceased and pray for local peace.
