Doulio Houzhuang Pi Waterfront Park (Sky Island Light Environment)

The Doulio Houzhuang Pi Waterfront Park is a recreational aquatic environment that integrates flood retention and family-friendly leisure. With the support of the Water Resources Agency and the Fifth River Management Office, the Water Resources Department of Yunlin County Government, in collaboration with various bureaus and the Doulio Township Office team, collectively developed and inaugurated the park in 2024. The 'Sky Island' within the Doulio Houzhuang Pi Waterfront Park uses 'clouds' as the main theme for its island art installations. Cloud-shaped light fixtures symbolize the essence of Yunlin (雲林, where '雲' means cloud), complemented by the 'forest' ('林') greenery that beautifies the park's environment. It incorporates river and pond landscapes, preserving many native plants. After dark, the illumination makes it even more beautiful, offering a different view from the daytime, transforming Houzhuang Pi Park into a dreamlike island floating in the sky, making it a fantastic recreational destination.
