Fenggu Innovation Hub

The Fenggu Innovation Hub is located across from Douliu Zhenxi Elementary School, with its site formerly housing a rice mill. In early Taiwan, after harvesting and drying rice, farmers would use a farm tool called a "fenggu" (wind winnower) to separate plump grains from lighter ones and remove impurities like husks and chaff. To preserve local culture, the "fenggu's" function of "removing the dross and preserving the essence" was adopted as the mission for this space. In the future, it will promote quality products from Yunlin, hoping to preserve "home goods" from agricultural communities. To revitalize the space, we will provide co-working spaces, allowing freelancers to comfortably focus on their work and engage in knowledge exchange with others. Additionally, it will introduce resources such as design capabilities from local universities, incubation center startup programs, young entrepreneurs, and Yunlin's young farmers. Through venue rental, it will regularly host educational lectures and handicraft experience activities, jointly discussing topics like design thinking, youth entrepreneurship, and local culture. This aims to gather various innovative ideas and professional knowledge at "Fenggu," fostering rich knowledge sharing and community connections.
