Shuilin Tongtian Temple

Shuilin Tongtian Temple primarily worships Lord Wenfu Qiansui. Also associated with 'Kaitai Wen Wangye' (Lord Wen, the founding king of Taiwan), it serves as the spiritual center for both Shuibei and Shuinan villages. Local tradition states that the ancestors of this area came to Taiwan with Yan Siji in the late Ming Dynasty to cultivate the land, and the worship of Lord Wen Wangye here has a history of over 300 years. Every five years, during the Wangye Festival, the community always invites the Five Lords from Mamingshan and Beigang Mazu to participate in the grand procession.
