Mashancuo Yong'an Temple of the Second Prince

The legendary Mashancuo Yong'an Temple is situated in Simei Village, Dongshi Township. Its principal deities are Prince Marshal and Baosheng Dadi. Originally, the temple's worship revolved around a rotating 'Luzhu' (incense master) chosen by lot among various households in the community. Construction of the temple itself commenced in 1979. The name Mashancuo derives from a horse-shaped sand dune, approximately 3 hectares in size, located on the northern side of this area.
