Wucuo Chaoxing Temple

Wucuo Mazu embodies the living history of local development. Although named Wucuo, the Liao surname is dominant in the settlement. Chaoxing Temple, the spiritual center, primarily worships Mazu, commonly known as Wucuo Mazu. This temple is traditionally believed to have been founded during the Qianlong era and belongs to the second of Xiluo's Seven Kams (settlements). In recent years, it has actively revived the "Seven Kams Welcome Mazu" procession, parading through 25 villages of the Seven Kams.
