Shekou Futian Temple

Shekou Mazu, connecting a century-old pilgrimage route. Futian Temple in Shekou primarily worships Mazu, commonly known as Shekou Mazu. It is said that this temple was built during the Qianlong era. At that time, local merchants traveling to Puzi for trade witnessed the manifest divine power of the Holy Mother of Puzaijiao. They then requested incense ashes to bring back to their village for worship. Therefore, Shekou devotees have historically gone to Puzi Peitian Temple to visit their ancestral temple and make pilgrimages.
