Fumo Dadi of Xiluo Xincuo Gongxiao Temple

The Xiluo Gongxiao Temple, known as an extraordinary 'Baking Furnace' Temple, primarily worships Lord Zhong Kui. Its origin is quite legendary. Over a hundred years ago, houses in Xincuo Village frequently caught fire without reason. Villagers invited Mazu (Lao Da Ma) from Xiluo Guangfu Temple to perform a palanquin divination. Mazu revealed that the village is a unique 'furnace-like' spiritual location and that Fumo Dadi must be enshrined to ward off disasters and resolve misfortunes.
