Lienei Gongyun Temple

The Gongyun Temple, a spiritual center in Lienei, primarily enshrines the famous Three Kingdoms general Zhao Zilong, who is also revered for protecting Yunlin. Legend has it that the divine statue of Marshal Zhao landed at Budai Harbor over 180 years ago and eventually found its way to be enshrined in a private residence of the Zheng family in Lienei. The construction of the temple was initiated by the community in Showa 10 (1935). Today, an old plaque respectfully erected by devotees during the Showa era still remains.
