Huwei Liren Village Shuntian Temple

The magnificent and solemn Emperor God Temple, Huwei Shuntian Temple, primarily worships Emperor Guan Sheng (Guansheng Dijun), with secondary worship of Prince Guan Ping and General Zhou Cang. The foundational statue of Emperor Guan was originally enshrined in a private residence of the Lee family in Houzhuang, Huwei. A new temple, named Shuntian Temple, was built starting in 1956. Every year on the 24th day of the 6th lunar month, a birthday celebration is held for Emperor Guan Sheng, along with a procession for peace and blessings.
