Teresa Teng's Birthplace Cultural Park

Asia's Songbird, Teresa Teng, was born in a classical Fujianese-style *sanheyuan* (a traditional three-sided courtyard house) in Tianyang Village, Baozhong Township, Yunlin County. When she was six years old, her family moved to Luzhou, Taipei. This Fujianese-style *sanheyuan* in Baozhong Township is the birthplace Teresa Teng cherished and hoped to revisit during her lifetime, making it a site of great commemorative significance. Based on the memories of Teresa Teng's elder brother, the site has been fully restored to reflect the living arrangements of a *sanheyuan* from that era. The Teresa Teng Cultural Association was also established here to actively promote the preservation of her former residence and artifacts. A Teresa Teng-themed exhibition is currently on display, inviting you to recall the birth and growth of this international superstar.
