Yunlin HSR Station

Yunlin HSR Station is located in Huwei Township, Yunlin County, Taiwan, serving as a station for Taiwan High Speed Rail, and commenced operations on December 1, 2015. In Taiwan, all stations named after their respective county/city are operated by the Taiwan Railways Administration (TRA) as main county/city stations. However, this station, along with Banqiao Station in New Taipei City and Zuoying Station in Kaohsiung City, are the only three exceptions. The station is close to urban recreational attractions: Heading south to Huwei downtown, you can visit towel factories, the Yunlin Hand Puppet Museum, Huwei Sugar Refinery, and more. Heading north along County Road 145 to Xiluo Township, you can visit Yanping Old Street, Xiluo Guangfu Temple (Xiluo Mazu Temple), Xiluo Fuxing Temple, Xiluo Bridge, and more. Heading west leads to Tuku Township. Heading east along County Road 145B, passing through the Huwei Interchange, you will eventually reach Citong Township, and a right turn will take you to Douliu City. In Douliu City, you can transfer to Taiwan Railways (TRA) or watch baseball games at Douliu Baseball Stadium, among other activities.
