Zhanghu Area

The Zhanghu Area is located in the eastern mountainous region of Gukeng Township, Yunlin County, at an elevation of 300 to 800 meters above sea level. It is named Zhanghu because its basin forms a circular, lake-like depression, and historically, camphor trees were abundant, producing camphor. Within this mountainous area, there are sixteen attractions, also known as the 'Sixteen Sights of Zhanghu', including Longfeng Waterfall, Changqing Waterfall, Tianchang Waterfall, Dijiu Waterfall, Three Streams' Serene Flow, Long Bridge's Secluded Exploration, Spirit Spring's Soaring Dragon, Qingshui Beautiful Valley, Immortal's Bathing Pool, Baodao Pool, Zhanghu Mountain, Shanhaiguan (Mountain and Sea View), Millennium Sacred Tree, Gathered Immortals Boulder, Lianbao Stone, and Serpent King's Palace.
