Xiluo Theater was built in 1940, co-funded by the prominent Lin Guanghe family of Xiluo at the time. It was quite famous locally, forming a bustling commercial area with nearby businesses, earning it the moniker 'Xiluo's Ximending'. It is currently designated as a historic building, and its beautiful architecture remains well-preserved to this day. The architectural layout of Xiluo Theater is symmetrical, with staircases on both sides. The first floor features a stage and an auditorium. On the left and right sides of the stage are mezzanine workspaces made of cypress wood, with a central cypress wood roof truss structure. The second floor includes a wooden mezzanine for additional seating and a projection room. The main facade's gable incorporates air vents and louvered wooden window designs. The Baroque washed-stone moldings on the gable, along with added ornamental patterns and linear decorative tiles, reflect New Romanticism.
