Xiluo Fuxing Temple

The Xiluo Fuxing Temple, dedicated to Mazu and colloquially known as Jiujie Taiping Mazu (Old Street Taiping Mazu) or Luoyang Taiping Mazu, has been a constant presence amidst the old street's historical charm. Situated advantageously on Yanping Road, it has witnessed the old street's rise and fall in prosperity. The 'Hao Yi Cong Feng' (Righteousness from the Wind) plaque, displayed within the temple, bears witness to the Zhang Bing Incident of the Daoguang period, recounting the story of how early settlers from Xiluo, Erlun, and Lunbei townships aided the Qing forces in suppressing the unrest.
