Huben Township, characterized by its hilly terrain, is located south of Linnei Township. The village boasts an excellent ecological environment. Every summer, the Fairy Pitta, an internationally protected migratory bird species, comes here to inhabit, and then flies away from Taiwan around November in winter. Therefore, it is also known as the "Hometown of the Fairy Pitta." Within Huben Village, one can also spot protected bird species such as the Taiwan Blue Magpie, Swinhoe's Pheasant, Black-crowned Night Heron, and Ruddy Kingfisher. In addition, there are plants such as wild betel and dendrobium orchids. By combining the efforts of the local community development association and the government, Huben Village has become an ecological conservation village within Linnei Township, integrating education, tourism, and recreation.
