Nikko Bedding Store

Nikko Quilt Shop is an old store with over a century of history, run by three generations. Owner Chen Ching-hsiu learned to make handmade quilts from his father since childhood, ensuring no detail is overlooked. From raw cotton, through complex steps such as fiber opening, layering, batting, pressing, and yarn drawing, it takes at least 3 hours to complete one handmade quilt. Chen Ching-hsiu sews the characters '特上' (Special Grade) with red thread inside the quilt, and prints the quilt shop's phone number and address, symbolizing a guarantee of the quilt's quality. In modern times, such dedication and meticulousness are rarely seen.
