Wendi is located on the banks of the Beigang River in Shuiling Township. This area, being close to the mouth of the Beigang River and featuring extensive riverine mudflats, possesses abundant food sources such as fish, shrimp, and shellfish. Therefore, it is very suitable for waterfowl habitation. Dozens of bird species have been recorded in the Wendi Wetland, including Black-headed Gulls, Caspian Terns, curlews, sandpipers, Grey Herons, and Northern Pintails, showcasing its very rich bird-watching resources. Relevant authorities are currently planning to designate this area as a themed bird-watching area and a wetland ecological conservation zone. Wendi is close to the mouth of the Beigang River. Bicycle paths are currently being planned, and there are also painted murals in the surrounding area. In the future, visitors can cycle or stroll here, enjoying the most relaxing leisure time.
