Erlun New Huwei River

The New Huwei River is situated on the southern border of this township, facing Huwei Township across the bank. The Central Taiwan Science Park Huwei Park and the HSR Huwei Station are located on the south side, across the river from Nanzai Village, and are expected to significantly influence the future development of this township. The Water Resources Agency has constructed a rubber dam in Nanzai Village to regulate water levels and divert water to other channels for irrigating nearby farmlands. This area also features a sports and recreation park, making it an excellent destination for morning visits. Visitors can stand on the dam bridge to admire the morning glow, enjoy the view of the old Taiwan Sugar railway tracks, and then walk along the stone-paved health trail. It's an ideal spot to engage in light exercise like stretching or martial arts, helping you store up energy for the day.
