Weaving Cloud Pavilion

Weaving Cloud Pavilion is located in the Zhuweizi Industrial Park, Douliu. It is a branch unit of the Taiwan Textile Research Institute, aiming to promote high-quality Taiwanese textiles, deepen textile design, and advance the servitization of the manufacturing industry. The name 'Zhiyun' (Weaving Clouds) directly signifies 'weaving Yunlin' (a play on words for Yunlin County). 'Zhi' (Weaving) represents realistic operations and rational presentation, while 'Yun' (Cloud) symbolizes the extension of dreams and emotional expression. Its inherent meaning lies in connecting rationality and sensibility to realize dreams. We hope that through Weaving Cloud Pavilion, we can inform you about the excellence and advantages of Taiwanese textiles, bringing you closer to them and letting you experience the wonder of textiles around you. Weaving Cloud Pavilion officially opened on May 15, 2013, and is open for visits by appointment. It irregularly holds exhibitions of achievements and promotional activities. Through guided machine tours, visitors can understand the manufacturing process of textiles, and detailed explanations help the public learn about textile applications and fashion trends. It collects, displays, and sells high-quality Made-in-Taiwan products, providing a new marketing channel for Taiwan's advantageous textile manufacturing industry.
