Yan Qing Puppet Carving Studio

The Origin of Yan Qing: Yan Qing Puppet Carving Studio was established in 1974, personally founded by Mr. Xu Yan Qing. Mr. Xu Yan Qing was born in July 1951 in Gukeng Township, Yunlin County. From a young age, he enjoyed carving figures on wood. Over time, he became self-taught, able to carve wood into lifelike puppet heads. Then, using colorful paints, he depicted various characters from his own fantasy world, each with a vivid spirit, thus immersing himself wholeheartedly into the world of puppet carving.
