Golden Bat Eco-Museum

An eco-journey full of bat blessings. The Golden Bat Eco-Museum is a renowned bat ecology center throughout Asia. Interpreters provide guided tours in the morning and evening, allowing visitors to observe bat ecology and habits up close and introducing children to biodiversity knowledge. The nearby Chengcheng Elementary School is an adorable 'Batman-themed' school, focusing on bats. Located in Shuilin Township, the Golden Bat Eco-Museum is Yunlin County's most distinctive ecological venue, designated as a Type 3 tourist attraction and certified as an environmental education facility. Just a 10-minute drive from Beigang Township, the museum, though not large in area, is small yet complete, making it a relatively significant bat ecology center in Asia. Its primary feature is the display of ecological art. Outside the entrance, two bat paper reliefs, 'Five Blessings Descend Upon Your House' and 'A Hundred Blessings Arrive Together,' created by ecological paper sculpture master Teacher Wang Zhen-wen, symbolize the good fortune that 'flies in' for Yunlin County residents and the rich biodiversity of bat species.
