Changhua Kapok Flower Season

Along the Dongluo River in Changhua County, from Pitou to Erlin, approximately 600 kapok trees are planted along a 5-kilometer stretch of riverside road, creating the nation's longest and most spectacular kapok flower avenue. In the vibrant spring of March, these fiery red blossoms interweave to form an endless orange-red tunnel. The Pitou and Erlin Kapok Flower Avenues connect, with branches laden with flowers that seem to burn like fire, painting half the sky red. On one side, the scene is complemented by fresh green paddy fields, while on the other, it reflects the gently flowing Dongluo River, creating a dreamy and ethereal landscape that attracts flower enthusiasts from across the country. The Kapok Flower Secret Realm in Zhutang is smaller in scale, but requires crossing a levee to venture deep into the fields, offering a unique sense of secluded ambiance, and has also become a highly popular spring attraction.
