Taiwanese Goldenrain Tree Green Tunnel

Two rows of Taiwanese Goldenrain Trees on the right bank of Dongluo River (from Daima Bridge to County Road 148) form a 1.5-kilometer-long green tunnel. It presents different appearances throughout the year. In spring, it's lush and vibrant. From September to October, it's blooming season, and yellow petals fall with the wind like golden rain. After the petals fall, fruits (capsules) develop, changing from bright red to deep red, then purplish-red. The varying blooming and fruiting times adorn the Taiwanese Goldenrain Trees with a vibrant array of colors. Late summer and early autumn are when the green tunnel is most beautiful. After enjoying the flowers, you can try the popular and often-queued Xihu Mutton Hot Pot, or visit Wujia Noodle Sculpture Museum for a DIY experience to learn about noodle sculpture culture.
