Hanbao Wetland

Located in the central coastal wetlands of Changhua County, with very little human disturbance, it provides an excellent wintering environment for migratory birds. As many as 160 species of migratory birds come here to feed and spend the winter. Fiddler crabs burrow in and out of the soft sand, and under the warm sun, the mud and sand shimmer black, making one unable to resist taking off shoes and socks to walk in barefoot. Shallow water and mud accompany your feet, and a refreshing, cool sensation spreads from your toes upward. You can also often see various shellfish, crabs, clams, oysters, small fish, and other small animals playing hide-and-seek with you, letting you experience the fun of the wetland.
