Golden Shower Tree Floral Path

The official name for Golden Shower Tree (Cassia fistula) is Golden Chain Tree. Its flowering season is from May to June. In early summer, beautiful golden flower clusters bloom, swaying in the wind. The individual flowers resemble sweet pea blossoms, with each single flower shaped like a small yellow butterfly. The long blooming clusters can reach about twenty centimeters in length. When the petals fall with the wind like threads of rain, it is also known as 'Golden Rain'. When sunlight shines down, it sparkles with dazzling golden brilliance. The golden flowers beautifully complement the azure sky, blooming freely in their beauty. Recommended viewing locations: <1> The section along the left bank of Dongluo River, from the sugar cane railway bridge to Daima Bridge (at the border of Erlin and Xihu). This 1.5-kilometer riverside road, from Daima Bridge to Xihu's sugar cane railway, is home to nearly 300 Golden Shower Trees. Every year from May to June, as they enter their blooming season, golden flower clusters hang from the treetops. As the south wind blows, petals dance across the entire road, creating a stunning 'golden rain' and making it one of Changhua's secret spots for flower viewing. <2> Changhua HSR Station - Zhanqu Road Section 1 (along the Three Railways and Running Water Cycling Path). Golden petals are carried by the wind, creating a romantic 'golden rain' that covers the entire cycling path, as if a golden carpet has been laid.
