Whenever flame trees bloom and graduation songs are played, it is also the time when students graduate and leave school. The blooming flame trees resemble a sea of red flames, earning them the reputation as one of the world's most vibrant trees, with some reaching over 20 meters in height. Since flame trees predominantly bloom in May, June, and July, coinciding with Taiwan's school graduation season, they are also considered a symbol of graduation. Next to the Baguashan Great Buddha, the "Baguashan Skywalk" is a winding white pedestrian bridge with seven entrances and exits, offering an aerial traverse over Guashan Road. In May and June, you can witness flame trees blooming vibrantly alongside it, their brilliant red petals adorning the green leaves, as if celebrating the arrival of summer! Green Bamboo Road in Xizhou Township, Changhua County, is situated at the junction of Xizhou, Tianzhong, and Ershui, connecting Dazhuang Community and Chenggong Community. It is lined with 2 kilometers of flame trees. Every year during their blooming season, the trees burst into full bloom, transforming the entire row of roadside trees as if they've all donned beautiful festive red garments. The trees and ground are covered in brilliant red, dazzling like a vibrant green tunnel. In recent years, after media reports, this rural secret spot has attracted many tourists. When flame trees are in full bloom, they resemble magnificent red umbrellas. Stroll beneath the Xizhou Flame Tree Tunnel, admiring the lush green rice paddies on both sides, and your mood will become as relaxed as your steps, allowing you to enjoy the tranquil and slow beauty of the countryside amidst the early summer breeze!
