Artist: Hsu Chen-Chun. "Embroidery" is a delicate craft deeply imbued with an oriental cultural ambiance. In traditional Chinese culture, embroidery is even considered one of the essential needlework skills for women. Master Hsu Chen-Chun's creative journey spans over sixty years. From a young age, she learned many traditional crafts under her father's guidance. Fascinated by embroidery, she mastered skills such as flower embroidery, "three-inch golden lotus" (foot binding embroidery), and "chun-a-hua" (spring flower) wrapping. She also self-taught and developed the "3D embroidery" technique, transforming traditional flat embroidery surfaces into vibrant, three-dimensional "3D embroidery" full of life, and further transforming it into emerging handicraft education and a refined industry. Whether it's the flat embroidery she excelled at from childhood or her self-created 3D embroidery, both are unique and full of creativity, earning her the reputation of "Lukang's Foremost Embroiderer." Here, you can see "dudou" (ancient Chinese bellybands) worn by ancient beauties that amazed audiences in national folk art activities, lifelike "tiger pillows" that act as little sleep helpers, and various "fragrant sachets" worn during the Dragon Boat Festival, among others. The pieces are filled with nostalgic charm and a modern touch, making it very worthwhile to savor and visit. Awards and Experience: 2006: Certified as a "Taiwan Crafts House." 2013: Registered as a preserver of Changhua County's traditional craft - 3D embroidery. 2017: Held the "Embroidery and Wrapping Art - Hsu Chen-Chun 3D Embroidery Exhibition" at the National Changhua Living Art Center. 2018: Participated in the Changhua County Cultural Affairs Bureau's "Changhua County Artists Relay Exhibition."
