The world's largest glove is right here! The Taiwan Glove Museum was founded by Chen Yi-yi, chairman of Yizhan Sports Co., Ltd., Taiwan's last remaining factory specializing in sewn sports gloves. Located in the Hosiery Industry Park on Sheshe Road in Shetou Township, covering an area of 530 ping, it is the world's only exhibition hall dedicated to gloves. It combines a museum, an art gallery, and a tourist factory into a comprehensive activity park. The museum offers the diversity of a museum, the professionalism of a glove factory, and integrates artistic creations, making it akin to a glove art museum. Planned with a tourist factory operating model, in addition to dynamic and static displays, it also includes DIY classrooms, learning facilities, a children's play area, and more. It features a "Global Glove Exhibition and Sales Area," showcasing gloves for various purposes and special gloves rarely seen in Taiwan. The museum's most prized possession is the "World's Giant Glove," standing at 5.8 meters tall. It is 256 times the size of a regular glove, hand-sewn stitch by stitch, and is claimed to be the world's largest, aiming to break the current record of 2.5 meters held in the United States.
