Qingshuiyan Recreation Area is located in Xucuo Hamlet, Shetou Township. Its main attractions include the elegant and ancient Qingshuiyan Temple (a county-designated historic site), the lush Qingshuiyan Forest Recreation Area, the well-equipped Qingshuiyan Campground, and the winding, tranquil Evergreen Cycling Path. The surrounding environment is characterized by green trees and birdsong, preserving much of its original natural beauty, making it one of Central Taiwan's three famous scenic areas. The elegantly built Qingshuiyan Temple, a county-designated historic site, is located at No. 1, Qingshuiyan Road, Qingshui Village, Shetou Township. The temple enshrines Sakyamuni Buddha and Guanyin Bodhisattva of the South Sea. In front of the temple are the Chunguang Pavilion and Dragon Pond. The architecture is ancient and elegant, surrounded by protective walls, and preserving many historical relics and couplets, making it an excellent place for worshipping Buddha and exploring history. The Evergreen Cycling Path is located at an altitude of 125 to 395 meters, on the western foothills of the southern section of the Baguashan Mountain Range. The entire path winds through mountains, forests, and fields, making it an excellent destination for cycling tours and nature activities in Central Taiwan.
