C-119 Military Aircraft Park. The C-119 transport aircraft, also known as the "Flying Boxcar," was manufactured by the American Fairchild Aircraft Corporation and had an endurance of up to 13 hours. On October 28, 1958 (ROC Year 47), the United States loaned 16 of these aircraft to our air force. They were officially received on July 8, 1959 (ROC Year 48), replacing the C-46.
