The police station is constructed of reinforced concrete with a Western-style wooden roof truss. It currently serves as a dormitory and storage room. Next to the police station stands a lookout tower, a rare architectural feature not commonly found elsewhere. The tower's presence testifies to the historical changes in the coastline of the Lukang-Changbin area. Its exterior walls are built using the washed aggregate finish technique, an architectural method introduced from the West by the Japanese during the Japanese colonial period, known for its resistance to wind and sun. Additionally, the air-raid shelter in the garden, preserved from World War II to the present day, also carries high historical significance. Source: Changhua County Cultural Affairs Bureau.
