The 'Hongmao Well' is located behind the former Sun Yat-sen Hall of the Changhua Arts Museum, dating back over three hundred years. It is the only surviving Dutch well in central Taiwan. When the Dutch occupied Taiwan, many missionaries and soldiers came here to draw water for drinking. Therefore, locals called this well 'Hongmao Well' or 'Fan-a Well'.
