Renhe Temple in Erlun, Changhua, a county-designated historic site, is a rare Tangshan-style temple and one of the ancient Mazu temples. Legend has it that it was founded in the early years of the Qianlong reign and underwent renovations in the 47th year of Qianlong (1782 AD). The temple structure is connected to street houses and faces south. After several reconstructions, it only achieved its current scale in the 20th year of Jiaqing (1815 AD). Further renovations occurred in Taisho 14 (1925) and Republic of China Year 50 (1961), resulting in its present appearance. Experts will appreciate its intricate details.
