Sanwan Pear Township Leisure Agriculture Area

Sanwan Pear Township is the 10th approved leisure agriculture area in Miaoli County. As its name suggests, the most important agricultural specialty here is the famous Sanwan Pear, along with other specialties like citrus, tea oil, tea leaves, and camellias. The entire leisure agriculture area is imbued with the charming atmosphere of a Hakka rural village. This area is located in the hilly terrain south of Yongheshan Reservoir, centered largely around Yonghe Village and Beipu Village. It boasts rich leisure agriculture and recreational resources, offering expansive views and beautiful, pleasant natural landscapes. Visitors can immerse themselves in a leisurely experience here, enjoying fruit picking with the whole family, observing the rural ecosystem, cycling freely to admire the pastoral scenery, or hiking along mountain trails to embrace the refreshing forest air (phytoncides).
