Xinpu Station

The Miaoli section of the Coastal Line Railway features three wooden train stations from the Japanese colonial era that have been preserved to this day, and Xinpu Station is one of them. The station and its railway facilities exude an old and weathered atmosphere, creating a unique travel style that is retro, nostalgic, and slow-paced. Xinpu Station is also the closest station to the sea on the TRA's western main line. Activated in 1922, it is now nearly a hundred years old. The structural style and historical value of this wooden station are quite high, and it remains in normal operation today.
