Dawowo Ecological Park is located in Dawowo Village, Dahu Township. It is a park boasting beautiful mountain forests and excellent natural conditions, covering an area of over 300 hectares, mostly consisting of pristine forests. The community has about 35 households with over 200 Hakka residents, most of whom are primarily engaged in farming. Not only does it offer different fruits and vegetables throughout the year, but it also boasts rich cultural, scenic, and ecological resources. These include historically significant ancient irrigation canals and the Wang Zhongye Stele, as well as diverse wildlife like fireflies and Onychostoma barbatulum (a type of fish), and natural wonders such as ancient camphor trees entwined with vines and the Xiaodongtian Waterfall. It is an ideal destination for those looking to escape the hustle and bustle of city life and enjoy the tranquility of nature.
