Cai Family Ancient Residence

Dating back nearly 190 years, the Cai Family Ancient Residence was specially constructed by the Cai clan members, who invited master craftsmen from China to Taiwan. The building, covering an area of approximately 2,000 square meters, utilized building materials sourced from China, with Fuzhou fir for its beams and pillars, and Tangshan stone laid as floor tiles. Exquisite and magnificent carvings are visible throughout the house, showcasing the beauty of sculptural art at every turn.
