Golden Town

Golden Town is located in the southern part of Gongguan. In the past, it was a typical agricultural village. During harvest season, the mature yellow rice ears in the fields swayed with the wind, forming golden waves of rice, a beautiful sight of abundance. If you visit between May and July and walk along Provincial Highway 6, the Golden Shower Trees on both sides of the road bloom brilliantly yellow, and their petals, carried by the wind, fall like golden rain, creating a captivating scene. This is the origin of the name Golden Town. To build an ideal home, Golden Town transformed from an agricultural village, developing diverse leisure and tourism industries. Locals formed the "Golden Town Association," integrating pottery, bamboo weaving, distinctive B&Bs, gourmet food, garden landscapes, flower farms, and tourist farms. These efforts enrich the local leisure industry and give the town more unique characteristics. In addition to these distinctive establishments, the area has also planned a pastoral irrigation canal cycling route to cater to visitors who enjoy leisurely bike rides. Through the joint efforts of its residents, Golden Town has become a place that integrates tourism, industry, and culture, successfully creating a refined leisure and tourism community.
