Songyuan Farm

Zhuolan is renowned throughout Taiwan as the "Kingdom of Fruit". Songyuan Farm is located in Neiwuan Village, southeast of Zhuolan Township. The farm primarily produces grapes and star fruit, and also offers related processed products for sale. For fruit cultivation, climate and soil are paramount. In Dongsheng, where Songyuan Farm is situated, the significant temperature difference between morning and evening naturally enhances the sweetness of the fruit. Coupled with years of natural cultivation, meticulous farming procedures, and the clear waters of the Daan River, the grapes and star fruit produced here are of stable quality, plump, sweet, juicy, and beautifully shaped. Songyuan cultivates crops using natural farming methods. Although this involves higher technical and cost thresholds, this effort is absolutely worthwhile for consumer health and the ecological balance of the land. To implement organic cultivation, all fruits are bagged during their early stages of development. No pesticides or chemical fertilizers are used during the growth period; instead, natural organic fertilizers are applied. This means Songyuan's grapes and star fruit can be picked and eaten immediately, without worrying about pesticide harm or contamination. The star fruit season is from October to New Year's Day of the following year, or from January to March. The grape season is from January to March and July to September.
