The park's design is inspired by the undulating hilly terrain of its site, incorporating outdoor spaces, a main exhibition hall area, and ancillary facilities. Plazas and pedestrian paths encircling the site gently connect the different areas, while the buildings are integrated as part of the overall landscape. The park and its facilities are enveloped by artificial hills adorned with water features and green patterns, creating the imagery of terraced fields. The Main Exhibition Hall serves as the primary space of the park. An aerial walkway from the park entrance leads to the permanent exhibition area on the 2nd floor, which uses various display methods to chronicle the moving stories of Hakka immigrants in Taiwan. The 1st floor features a multimedia interactive exhibition area. The surrounding special exhibition areas are themed around different captivating elements of Hakka culture, including the Taiwan Hall, Global Hall, Children's Hall, Cultural and Creative Industries Hall, and the Camphor Industry Special Exhibition Area. These reflect the profound significance of preserving and innovating Hakka culture. Ancillary facilities include a DIY experience area for family fun and study classrooms. Adjacent to the study classrooms, a multimedia audio-visual theater allows visitors to watch heartwarming Hakka films. The main stage area at the tiered plaza hosts various cultural and artistic performances, such as Hakka music and group showcases, inviting visitors to engage closely with Hakka culture. Along the walkway behind the main stage, you can reach the crescent pond, which embodies Hakka imagery, and enjoy the view of the Hakka village settlement at the foot of the mountain. When you're tired, visit the Hakka specialty industry exhibition and sales area. Before ending your trip, pick up some unique Hakka products and local delicacies as souvenirs, allowing visitors to experience the renowned hospitality of the Hakka people!
