Tongluo Sky Bicycle Path

The Tongluo Bicycle Path is located in Jiuhu Village, Tongluo Township, Miaoli County, and is also known as the Tongluo Jiuhu Bicycle Path. This circular route spans approximately 8 kilometers, built along the ridge of Jiuhua Mountain, returning to its starting point after one loop. It passes through major attractions such as Daxingshan Temple of Jiuhua Mountain, Tiaoyan Ancient Trail, and Hutoukian Ancient Trail, and also features a quaint suspension bridge and a scenic bridge that cross the valley, making it very distinctive. Approximately 5 kilometers of the bicycle path are integrated with tea plantation access roads, and the expansive tea fields and rural landscapes are also a unique feature of the Tongluo Bicycle Path. Taiwan's Highest Bicycle Path: The "Sky Bicycle Path," touted as the highest in Taiwan and part of the Tongluo Bicycle Path, is situated between the Hutoukian Ancient Trail and the Tiaoyan Ancient Trail. This section, which spans a valley, is exclusively for bicycles and pedestrians. Uniquely designed viewing platforms feature bicycle parking spaces, allowing visitors to park their bikes and ascend to the upper level to enjoy the scenery. During the Tung Blossom Festival, in particular, the valley is covered with blooming tung flowers, resembling pure white snow blanketing the mountains, which is incredibly beautiful.
