Jiangmaya Leisure Area, located in Liulin Village, Dahu Township, Miaoli County, is part of the Guandaoshan mountain range. Situated at an altitude of 500 to over 800 meters, it lies at the border of Dahu Township and Sanyi Township in Miaoli County. Provincial Highway 130 connects Dahu Jiangmaya and Sanyi Shuangtan, two leisure agriculture areas, from west to east. As early as the Qing Dynasty, due to unique conditions such as terrain, soil quality, and climate, coupled with the industriousness of early settlers and their excellent techniques and experience in cultivating ginger, ginger cultivation became widespread. Both the quality and quantity of their produce were highly praised by both the government and the public. Thus, the place name 'Jiangmaya' (Ginger Garden) gradually took shape and has long been an official place name commonly used by both official and private sectors to this day. The park boasts a rich variety of agricultural products, with different harvests throughout the year, including strawberries, peaches and plums, grafted pears, persimmons, citrus, bamboo shoots, and ginger. The most distinctive and community-representative product is ginger, which is also available year-round. Visitors can enjoy ginger products whenever they visit Jiangmaya.
